Having a Talent!

Everyone has a talent. Some peoples talents are different to others. But what ever your talent is you should be proud of it. It  can be as unique as you want. Not everyone is the same remember.

What is your talent?

(I can find a talent for all of you: reading my blog well and being kind)

Brits 2013!

Seeing as the Brits were yesterday, I have decided to give you an overview of what the celebriteies were wearing yesterday.Be prepared for a sparkling sight of wowness!

This year’s Brits were a fantastic array of the musical talent we have in Britain, along with the awesome music was some beautiful and slighly bizzare dresses!  I have picked some of the best from the night….

Rihanna

Rihanna, being the Pop Princess she is decided to have two dresses for the Brits! We can’t help but love the bright colours, and the floral dress is lovely (although very similar to my grannies curtains!) We still love it!

Cheryl Cole

Wow! As usual Cheryl looked stunning in this long black, elegant dress.  We particular like her hair, the ‘up do’ is very classy and great for a special event.

Red carpet dresses

These were some of the most colourful dresses of the night. The purple looks great against Tess Daily’s (First one) blonde hair and with the silver clutch to match, she gets the thumbs up from us!  Sophie Ellis Bextor (Middle) looks striking in her red dress, red looks great against paler skin.  And finally Catherine Jenkins looks very sophisticated in her green floral dress.

LBDs at the Brits

Finally the ‘LBD’ (little black dress) we though these were the best of the night. We thought Adele’s suited her best, her up-do and sparkly earrings really brought the outfit together.  Not only can Adele sing beautifully but she has the dress sense to match!

Which dresses do you like best?  Would you have gone for a ‘LBD’ or a colourful number?  We love them all!

Most expensive…

Ice cream:

not your typical ice cream sundae

This is the one of the most expensive ice cream sundae in the world! It is over £1000. I wonder what is taste like!

Car:

This is the most expensive car today! It is over 2 million pounds.

Shoes:

This is the most expensive snikkers in the world. It cost about£3,500

More expensive stuff:

Which of these things would you like to own?

Boozy coffee & walnut cake

This is a perfect cake for parties, celebrations or for just for tea…

Method

  1. Heat oven to 190C/fan 170C/gas 5. Butter two 20cm sandwich tins and line with non-stick baking paper. Toast the walnut halves in the oven for 10 mins. Reserve 10 and chop the rest. Dissolve the instant coffee in 1 tbsp of boiling water, cool and add the basic cake mix instead of the milk.
  2. For the filling, beat the mascarpone with the light muscovado sugar and Tia Maria until smooth. Sandwich the cooled cakes with a third of the filling and the chopped walnuts.
  3. Cover the top and sides of the cake with the rest of the filling and decorate the top with the toasted walnut halves.

And there, your boozy coffee and walnut cake is done!

What is your favourite winter look?

lOOK 1:

lOOK 3:

lOOK 4:

What is your favoutite look?

My favourite look is look 3 because the colours look really well together. The scarf and the earrings make the outfit look better and more colourful. The outfit for look 4 is good however nearly everything in that outfit is grey!
