My top 5 favourite lip glosses

Hey, so I know I haven’t been posting a lot lately however now that is nearly the summer holiday, I promise I will post more 🙂

Anyway, today I am going to tell you my top five favourite lip glosses.

In 5th place is:

This lip gloss is amazing! The reason I like it so much is because it stays on for a really long time and it doesn’t feel sticky.

In 4th place is:

This lip gloss is great because it is so light and it doesn’t take much to cover up your lips.

In 3rd place is:

The reason I love this is because it has the colour that suits me the best which is a coral-red. For some reason, I can’t find any other lip glosses that match that colour!

In 2nd place is:

This lip gloss is so light and it last for ages! I also love the colours this brand produces 😛

I love this lip gloss so much! Mainly because it is so smooth and there are so many colours to choose from. It is quite expensive though so I save it for special occasions.

How to style your hair like Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande has become a very famous singer and actress this year but as well as that, she is a very big fashion icon. Today I am going to show you how to do one of her most common hairstyles.

  1. You will need to shampoo and condition your hair. Make sure there are no knots and make sure it is dry.
  2. Pull half off your hair up, you can use a teasing comb for this. Make sure it is quite high but don’t pull your bangs back.
  3. Then you are going to twist your bangs and pull them back. You can use bobby pins for this.
  4. After you have finished, curl your hair. Use a 1 inch curler so your curls are bouncy. Make sure you curl the pony tail. You can use hair spray to keep these in place.
  5. Finally, tie a ribbon into the pony tail but that is optional.

And there you have the perfect way to style like Ariana!

Chocolate sorbet

Hey, I know I haven’t been posting for quite a while, I have been really busy however, I am back and I am ready to post! Todays post is how to make chocolate sorbet. I know I have been posting a lot of recipes about chocolate but they are what I have been making quite a lot lately 😛

So here is the recipe :

Ingredients:

  • 200g caster sugar
  • 50g cocoa
  • 50g dark chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method:

  1. Tip the sugar into a bowl, sift in the cocoa and stir.
  2. Bring 600ml water to the boil it in a saucepan. Whisk in the sugar and cocoa and turn it back to a gentle simmer. Simmer it uncovered, for 5 mins, whisking occasionally.
  3.  Take it off from the heat and mix in the chocolate and vanilla until the chocolate has melted.
  4. Cool the mixture, then put in the fridge for several hrs or overnight until well chilled. Make the sorbet in an ice-cream machine or pour into a rigid plastic container, preferably bowl shaped, and freeze until frozen 3cm from the edges.
  5. Whisk to break down the ice crystals, then freeze again for 1 hr more. Whisk and freeze again one more time, then leave until completely frozen.
  6. Before serving, transfer to the fridge for 30 mins to make scooping easier.
